Q. How much does it cost to rent a book/movie/study room?

Every service the library provides is 100% free. You may check out books or movies or equipment, reserve a study room, search our online databases, or use library computers for free.

There are two rare exceptions:

Patrons are responsible for lost or damaged items they have checked out (see the Library Fines policy)
Some interlibrary loan materials might require the patron to pay a small shipping or processing fee depending on the policies of the lending library (see the Interlibrary Loan policy).

Note: Printing from one of the SmartPrint printers in the library costs 10 cents a page. Campus printers are managed by the LakerCard Office. If you need to buy or rent a textbook please contact the Loch Shop Bookstore.
