Respondus LockDown Browser is a secure browser for taking quizzes in Desire2Learn. It prevents you from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If a Desire2Learn quiz requires that Respondus LockDown Browser be used, you will not be able to take the quiz with a standard web browser.
LockDown Browser is installed on all public workstations in the library and on the student laptops available for checkout. Workstations on the lower level of the library and all student laptops have built-in webcams. However, you will need to checkout a webcam if you use one of the workstations on the library's upper level.
