Each movie or movie segment in the Films on Demand (FOD) platform has an associated permalink (or Record URL) that must be used for linking/sharing in D2L, email, blogs, etc.. Students will not be able to access a film with any link other than a permalink.

First, access FOD and navigate to the movie or movie segment you wish to share. Please note that the permalink is NOT the URL listed in the address bar of your browser which will look like this example.  Instead, the permalink is highlighted in grey below the viewer. A permalink will always have this prefix at the beginning: ezproxy.clayton.edu:2048/login?url=.

If you still cannot play the movie, copy the title ID (tid) from within the link (e.g. 37576) and paste it into the search box in Films on Demand.  Searching by title ID will pull up the full movie and all movie segments for the film.
