Visit the Reference Desk on the lower level of the library to check out an item your professor placed on reserve. Please know your course ID, professor's name, and the title of the item when coming to check out an item on reserve. A valid LakerCard is required to check out materials.

Reserve items may only be used for the amount of time indicated on the front of the item. This may be 2 hours, overnight, or 7 days.

  • 2 hour reserve items are due back two hours from the time they are checked out or before they library closes. These items do not leave the library.
  • Overnight reserve items are due back before closing on the next day the library is open. Students may only check out 2 at a time.
  • 7 day reserve items are due back before closing 7 days from the day they are checked out. Students may only check out 1 at a time.

Materials should be promptly returned to the book return at the Reference Desk before the loan period expires to avoid library fees. Students will be held responsible for any lost or damaged materials charged to their record.
